INTERVIEW:
Where did you grow up?
I was born and raised right here in Mayaguez, PR.
What was your favorite subject in school?
I've always loved the sciences and astronomy
What do you do at UPRM?
Im the planetarium coordinator. I arrange all the meetings, school visits and open house activities (dates are published at http://www.uprm.edu/cartelera)
What is your educational background?
I've been in several astronomy training seminars in the United States where I learned how to work the planetarium system and to teach accurate facts about our universe.
What do you do outside campus?
On my free time I love to read, swim, relax in my beach camper in Combate. I love to travel with my family.
A message for those interested in astronomy:
If someone feels curiosity he should start by looking up and stare at our beautiful starry night, and when he falls in love with it, studying it a little bit more by grabbing a book and a pair of binoculars is a good idea. Most young people these days don't look up into the sky, looking up is a good start...
